“The meaning of this celebration is to let himself be encountered by God, to have the ability to put together the pieces of his own life, each of which makes sense, a value”. These are the words with which Cardinal Don Mimmo Battaglia, Archbishop of Naples, defined the celebration of the Jubilee of the therapeutic communities of Calabria, promoted by Crea Calabria (regional coordination of the accredited bodies for dependencies) and held yesterday morning in the Cathedral Basilica of Squillace.
Communities are places of welcome and rebirth, fundamental principals in the contrast to addictions and in the treatment of fragility. With Cardinal Battaglia there were the metropolitan archbishop Msgr. Claudio Maniago, many priests of the diocese and numerous managers, operators and guests of the Calabrian communities who at the beginning of the celebration brought many gifts, including a cross built with the wood of the cadic wrecked in Cutro two years ago.
