With the release of the official trailer, edited by PiperFilm, Picomedia and Less Is More Produzioni, the wait for the film “The Common Good”, Rocco Papaleo’s latest cinematic effort, comes to life. The film, released in theaters on March 12th, boasts a cast of absolute prestige, made up of performers of the caliber of Claudia Pandolfi, Teresa Saponangelo, Vanessa Scalera and Andrea Fuorto, Rosanna Sparapano and Livia Ferri.

The plot develops through the evocative landscapes of Basilicata and Calabria. And it tells the story of a hiking guide who, having accepted the unusual assignment of accompanying a group of prisoners on a prize trip to the Pollino National Park, does not imagine that what should have been a simple pastime will turn into an experience with unimaginable consequences. In addition to the national cast and the originality of the story, discreet protagonists of the feature film are our mountains, the wide and uncontaminated valleys, the cultural heritage, a triptych of extraordinary attractive power captured in its most dynamic aspects by the Lucanian artist.

«The crew’s stay for twenty-eight days at the “Locanda del Parco” – states the mayor Mario Donadio – is a privilege for us. But, what is neither trivial nor secondary, an opportunity that has already generated an immediate economic result and a return on image. The hospitality network and local services in general have in fact benefited from the presence of a large number of operators and various employees, demonstrating how cinema can transform itself into a formidable territorial marketing tool whose dual effects do not take long to become visible. the choice to set part of the scenes among our peaks and to have the entire team stay in one of the most renowned structures in the area – comments the mayor of Moranese – testifies to the quality of our accommodation system, increasingly appreciated and chosen by visitors. As far as we are concerned, we will continue to encourage these synergies, convinced that the projection of our peculiarities on the big screen represents an extraordinary and effective advertising medium. Grateful for all this to Rocco Papaleo and the production.”
