An ongoing theft, foiled by the Carabinieri of the Scalea Company under the constant coordination of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Paola.
It happened in Tortora, where the soldiers of the Praia a Mare station and the Norm’s radio section arrested a 41 year old of Neapolitan origins for theft resistance and threat to public officials in the act.
The thief, taking advantage of a moment of distraction of the owner, introduced himself into his apartment and stole 110 euros in cash. Not happy, then moved to a second apartment determined to commit further thefts but, the immediate alarm launched by the owner through a call to 112, allowed immediate intervention. Law enforcement officers blocked the subject wearing the stolen goods, immediately returned. The 41 -year -old, who also resisted and threatened the carabinieri who intervened, was therefore transferred to the Paola prison.
