They left as a sign of protest because, according to them, there was a lack of dialogue between the democratic components in the City Council and in the Democratic Party in general. And they formed an autonomous political space in the municipal assembly: “Democracy and Participation”. Now, approximately two and a half years later, Francesco Graziadio, Aldo Trecroci and Gianfranco Tinto are ready to return to the PD group, convinced that the party has reversed course and will be able to stem the controversies and internal fractures, precisely at the moment in which the group leader of the democrats, Francesco Alimena, resigned from the role held so far in the PD team, speaking of the failure of the Cosenza 2050 project, and also while the secretary provincial, Matteo Lettieri, the shadow of mistrust has been hovering for some time.
