The sea and the mountains, the two souls of Calabria: Giulia Capocchi and Lino Zani cross them – on foot, but also by a bike along the cycle paths that cross the region – in “Green Path Line”, broadcast today at 12.30 on Rai 1 from the Sila National Park, the first national park established in Calabria. His adventure will lead him to climb to the highest summit of the Sila, Monte Botte Donato, at an altitude of 2000 meters high. During his journey, Lino will also meet a family who has bet on the production of wine, placing the highest vineyard in Europe. His journey will end in the heart of the Sila plateau, where real living monuments resist, the larchs, giants of the Sila that testify to the beauty and majesty of this region. Giulia Capocchi, on the other hand, will travel the cycle path of the Val di Neto, which from the Sila reaches the beaches of the Ionian Sea. First stop Caccuri, and then visit the Santa Severina Castle. Next stop in the municipality of Rocca di Neto, to discover a settlement of great historical value, the rock caves, inhabited by prehistory in the Middle Ages. Finally, the arrival on the beach near the mouth of the Neto river, inside a protected oasis.
