Blitz at dawn between Capannori (LU) and Cassano allo Ionio (CS) as part of an investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Pistoia. The soldiers of the NAS of Florence, with the support of their colleagues from Cosenza and the provincial commands of the Carabinieri of Lucca and Cosenza, have carried out an order of personal precautionary measures against two suspects, considered seriously suspected of complicity in the marketing of anabolic substances.
The investigation, started in February 2024, reconstructed an alleged system of importation and distribution on a national scale of anabolic drugs without marketing authorization. According to what emerged, the main supply channel was identified in Calabria, with shipments also from abroad. Three decisive seizures of packages containing anabolic substances, intercepted during transport.
Between 10 and 15 February, 29 searches were carried out in various Italian regions: over 650 packs of anabolic drugs and ten packs of nandrolone, a substance included in the narcotics tables, were seized. Overall, 53 people have been referred to the judicial authorities for marketing anabolics and receiving stolen goods. The precautionary measures were ordered by the investigating judge of Pistoia after preliminary interrogations.
