A newborn baby died today in the obstetrics and gynecology department of the “Gino Iannelli” hospital in Cetraro. A heartbreaking mourning, which hit the young parents, of Fiumefreddo Bruzio, deeply shaken by what happened. The circumstances of the death of the newborn are still being investigated. The fetal heartbeat would have been, in fact, present until the girl expulsion, as evidenced by the doctors present at the time of childbirth. The mother, a twenty -six -year -old girl, and her father, after this immense tragedy who touched their family, filed a complaint, still incredulous for having lost their first daughter, expected and desired for nine months, during which nothing was noted the sad epilogue. The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Paola, under the orders of Captain Marco Pedullà, who acquired the medical record, arrived at the scene today. The young mother waiting, during pregnancy, was followed by a private gynecologist in the area and had already reported problems in recent days. A week ago, with non -painful and arrhythmic contractions (so -called “preparatory”), it had, in fact, presented itself to the emergency room of Cetraro and was then visited by the gynecologists on duty and hospitalized. Having found the conditions of the so -called “false labor”, she then returned home. The same seems to have happened a few days later, at the Annunciation of Cosenza, where, after visiting her, the doctors again opted for the discharge of the woman. On August 11, however, the aspiring mother returned to the Cetrarese department, where she then decided for her hospitalization.
