Luigi Genovese is the new president of the Sicilian Transport Company (AST), the public company controlled by the Sicilian Region that manages public transport inter -urban on the island. The Shareholders’ Meeting, on the indication of the Presidency of the Region, today approved the appointment of the new company summit that takes over from the resigning Alessandro Virgara, at the helm of the company in the last year.
The new president will carry out the corporate relaunch plan and the implementation of the fleet renewal projects and services, in line with the objectives of sustainability and quality of regional public transport.
