Tropea will be called to the polls next spring: in fact, the mandate of the extraordinary commission will expire in April. The official date of the administrative elections has not yet been made official, but the time window ranging from 15 April to 15 June is already being evaluated. In the city the “ferment” in view of the lists to be drawn up has been felt for a long time, but currently only former city councilors have formalized their participation in the political competition.
Starting with the former mayor Giovanni Macrí, however ready to get back into the game, to resume management from where he had to “interrupt” with the dissolution; as well as Antonio Piserà and Massimo Cono Pietropaolo, who have never stopped dealing with politics, always putting their face to it. The “toto-mayor” has been in full swing for months, and the rumors suggest the possibility of new candidacies or twists, including a possible “mayor in pink”.
