President Donald Trump renewed in an NBC interview The threat of resorting to military force to annex Greenland.

“I do not exclude him – he said – I don’t say that I will do it, but I don’t exclude anything”. The CNN reports. “We have a desperate need for Greenland,” said Trump. “Greenland is made up of a very small population, which we will take care of, and we will love it, and everything else. But we need it for international security”. He added that he doubts that this happens, but that the possibility exists “certainly”

Trump returns to be talked about with a series of ads destined to shake internal political and international relations. In a message published on Truth, the American president said he ordered the reconstruction and reopening of the Federal prison of Alcatraz, closed for over sixty years. “It will host the most ruthless and violent criminals in America,” he wrote, specifying that the structure will be “substantially expanded”.

Also on social media, Trump has announced his intention to introduce a 100% rate on all films produced abroad and distributed in the United States. “We want films made in America, again!” He said, denouncing what he calls “a threat to national security”. According to the president, the American film industry “is dying very quickly” due to the incentives offered by other countries to attract directors and studies far from the United States.

During a meeting with journalists aboard the Air Force One, Trump confirmed that he had proposed to Mexico the sending of US troops to fight drug signs. He then criticized the Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum: “She is an adorable woman, but she is so afraid of the signs that she can’t even think lucidly”.

Trump also excluded an imminent interview with Chinese President Xi Jinping, while specifying that “China and our people are talking about several things”. He then commented on the transfer of Mike Waltz from the Guide of the Council for National Security (NSA) to the role of US Ambassador to the UN, calling him “an improvement”. “I have not lost confidence in him – he added – I personally prefer that assignment to the other”.

On the economic front, the president has anticipated the possibility that new commercial agreements are reached already during the week, specifying, however, that “I will be to define duties and conditions”. As for migratory policy, he reiterated the need to accelerate judicial appointments and criticized the current system: “We need judges who do not pretend to make a trial for each individual illegal immigrant. With millions of arrivals, millions of trials would be needed, it is impossible”.
