An ultralight plane crashed around 19.00 in the countryside of Accadia on the Dauni mountains in the province of Foggia. The pilot, who was only on board, was saved by throwing himself with the parachute and reported only bruises. The aircraft was in flight from Sibari (Calabria) directed to Benevento (Campania) when, probably due to an engine advance, and bad weather, he would have impacted against dense vegetation at the height of Crispignano (1050 meters). The pilot lost control and launched with the parachute by landing between the vegetation. The aircraft was seized. It was the pilot himself who called for help. The local police of Accadia, the carabinieri and 118 health workers with the helicopter rescue who transported the man to the hospital intervened. To coordinate the operations also by the mayor of the small town Agostino De Paolis who activated the Municipal Operations Center. The roar due to the crash of the ultralight was warned by the population of the small town and close ones.
