The UN sanctions to Iran, ten years after the 2015 nuclear agreement, strongly desired by Barack Obama and deleted by Donald Trump, who had loosened the tightening on the Tehran regime, took place.
The negotiations of the last few months were failed, despite the diplomatic efforts of the USA and Europe, the severe restrictive measures have returned in force.
In a joint note, the Foreign Ministers of France, the United Kingdom and Germany invite Tehran to “avoid any escalation action”.
“The reintroduction of UN sanctions – reads the document – does not mean the end of diplomacy. We urge the Iran to avoid any escalation and return to respect the legally binding safeguarding obligations”.
