The atmosphere between the regional Citadel and Palazzo Campanella is becoming increasingly tense. The clash over undersecretaries shows no signs of abating; indeed, the relaunch of Occhiuto, ready to counter-appeal on the ruling of the regional central office which paves the way for the referendum to repeal the law, has further inflamed souls. And yesterday the counter-move of the centre-left minority was not long in coming, materializing in a letter to the governor himself, to the director of the Department for the valorisation of human capital Marina Petrolo, to the general secretary of the Regional Council Tommaso Calabrò and, for information, to the prosecutor of the Republic of Catanzaro, Salvatore Curcio, and to the regional prosecutor of the Court of Auditors, Giovanni Di Pietro.
Specifically, the councilors Ernesto Alecci, Elisabetta Barbuto, Enzo Bruno, Francesco De Cicco, Giuseppe Falcomatà, Filomena Greco, Ferdinando Laghi, Rosellina Madeo, Giuseppe Ranuccio and Elisa Scutellà ask not only “the immediate calling of the popular referendum” but also “the revocation of the appointment of the undersecretaries and the related special structures”.
