Jannik Sinner wins the ‘derby’ with Lorenzo Musetti and arrives at the semifinals of the US Open. The South Tyrolean, number 1 of the world ranking, exceeded compatriot in three sets with a score of 6-1, 6-4, 6-2. Now the Canadian Felix Auger will challenge to access to the final. The match between the two blues lasted two hours. Sinner started strong, closing the first set in 27 minutes without leaving the opponent’s escape. The second part was more balanced, Musetti also had a break ball (not concreteized thanks to an ACE of Sinner) but in the end he had to give way to the number 1 in the world who torn the service to the ninth game. The third set began immediately with a break in favor of South Tyrolean, who then defended himself very well (canceling various balls for the counterbreak) and closed without further problems.
