The US Vibonese Calcio has made known the appointment of Calogero di Carlo as the new general manager of the club.
Professional with managerial training and consolidated skills in business management, Di Carlo arrives in Vibo after the important experience in 5 -a -side football with Real Cefalù, brought from Serie C to Serie A. For the first time in the world of 11 -a -side football, brings with him an important wealth of experience in the administration and coordination of complex structures. Former belonging to the Carabinieri weapon and already responsible for the national offices of the Pegaso Telematic University, he has matured during his particular career Expertise in the management of institutional relations and has dedicated years of work to give voice and centrality to the territory of the South through training, entrepreneurial, culture and communication projects.
The appointment of Di Carlo represents a strategic choice of the company led by President Fernando Cammarata and directed sporty by Angelo Costa, who has identified in the Sicilian manager the qualities necessary to guide the administrative area of the club with an innovative approach. His managerial and organizational experience, combined with the knowledge of institutional dynamics and the vision of sport as a renaissance lever, will be essential to support the Vibonese sports project and strengthen relations with territorial bodies.
The new general manager, who has also involved a group of young professionals for this project, will have the task of coordinating all the administrative activities of the company, interfacing with the property and supervising the management aspects and institutional relationships. The goal is to create a modern and revolutionary management that makes a collective team of Vibonese, of all and for everyone, aiming for the “Verso hundred” project in view of the important milestone of the centenary in 2028.
The plan, based on maximum transparency and constant connection with the city, provides for a leaner and efficient organizational renovation, the active involvement of institutions, entrepreneurs, citizens and fans, and the enhancement of the stadium as a point of identity for the city and the entire province.
