A decisive intensification of the control services in the area involved the State Police in the municipality of Capo d’Orlando during the weekend just passed. To the ordinary operating modules, the agents of the Cape d’Orlando Public Security Commissariat have combined a targeted prevention activity aimed at guaranteeing greater safety for citizens and preventing the occurrence of new episodes of urban violence.
At Capo d’Orlando and in his hinterland, the specific control services of the territory planned by the Quaestor Annino Gargano were carried out with the help of the policemen of the Catania crime prevention department, coordinated by the PS commissioner of Capo d’Orlando, and have affected roads and highways, as well as the most popular meeting places, such as bathing establishments, discos and night clubs.
