Yet another fatal accident on state road 106 in Belcastro between the provinces of Catanzaro and Crotone. For reasons still under investigation, a van and two cars (a Jeep Compass and a Toyota Yaris) collided. One person, Pietro Fontana, 33 years old from Mesoraca, has died (he is the driver of the Yaris).
There are three injured, two are serious
Three other people were injured, two seriously, and were entrusted to the care of SUEM 118 medical personnel, who took the injured to hospital.
The Anas teams, the 118, the firefighters (who are proceeding with the removal of the body stuck between the sheets of metal) and the police are present on site to manage the emergency and restore normal circulation in the shortest possible time.
The SS 106, in the section affected by the accident, is currently closed to traffic until the end of the rescue operations.
