The ranking in the self -assessment relating to the “Inauguration of Young Farmers” has been published, financed in the context of the new programming of European funds for agriculture CSR 2023/2027.
At the expiry of the notice, 565 requests for support, for a total of over 56 million euros of contributions requested. The current financial endowment, equal to 40 million euros, may allow – if the applications of the self -assessment ranking will be confirmed positively to the outcome of the formal evaluation of the Commission – to finance 401 young beneficiaries.
The Agriculture Department, on the indication of the regional Department, has already started the process to request an increase in the financial allocation of an additional 30 million euros in the context of the complement for the rural development (CSR) of the Calabria Region. The request is currently being examined by the Ministry of Agriculture and the European Commission, with good prospects for approval.
If the financial integration is accepted, all the applications that will be permanently admitted by the evaluation commission and, subsequently, to issue a new notice intended for other young people interested in taking an entrepreneurial path in agriculture, can be funded.
