As had transpired the day before, during today’s session of the sixth council commission it clearly emerged what the orientation of the City Council (or at least of the political majority of South calls North) will be on the discussed three Zanklon projects for university residences.
After a long debate, in fact, the three resolutions were put to the vote: if the first, the one relating to the “Policlinico” project, recorded 9 abstentions (the so-called technical abstention), the other two, for the “Centre” and “Archimede” projects, were rejected with 5 votes against (those from the South call the North) and 4 abstentions (those from the opposition). Now we will return to the city council, where it can be expected that the only approved project will be the “Polyclinic” one, for 504 homes in Minissale. But the last word has yet to be written.
