Censis, quality of public services. Reggio, Cosenza and Crotone with the lowest scores

The process of renewing the quality of public services passes through evaluation, a tool capable of identifying and guiding political and administrative decisions. This is what we read in 58 Census report on the social situation of the country/2024 released today. Second the Agenda 2030 Index developed by Censis to evaluate the quality of public services in the Italian provinces (fight against poverty, health, education, mobility, water services, gender equality and justice), among the metropolitan cities Florence ranks first (116.9 points), followed by Bologna (114.3) and Cagliari (113.8). The cities that obtain the lowest scores are Catania, Reggio Calabria and Naples, with over 20 points behind the top positions.

Among the provinces with more than 500,000 inhabitants, Trento leads the ranking (115.4 points), followed by Udine (114.1) and Padua (110.4). Caserta, Foggia and Cosenza record the lowest scores, not even reaching 80 points. Among the provinces between 300,000 and 500,000 inhabitants, Ancona (118.1) comes first, followed by Parma (115.3) and Forlì-Cesena (113.5).
Among the provinces with less than 300,000 inhabitants Siena is in the lead (118.2), followed by Ascoli Piceno (113) and Aosta (111.7). The absolute lowest score is for the province of Crotone (70.5 points).
