“Amici per caso 2, Calabria on the Road”, the film directed by Max Nardari and produced by Reset Produzioni with the support of the Calabria Film Commission, was presented today in Crotone. The director, the cast, the president of the Anton Giulio Grande Foundation, the mayor Vincenzo Voce and the councilor for culture Dalila Venneri participated in the presentation. The production involves 58 Calabrian professionals in the various departments. During the first four weeks of filming, which took place between Crotone and its hinterland, 150 people were also employed, including special figures and extras. Work on the set will continue until November 7.
The cast and the participation of Elettra Lamborghini
The film sees the special participation of Elettra Lamborghini in the role of Patty. The cast includes Filippo Contri, Filippo Tirabassi, Ludovico Fremont, Beatrice Bruschi, Mirko Frezza, Marina Suma, Francesco Pannofino, Antonella Elia, Franco Neri, Giulia Schiavo, Laura Lena Forgia, Letizia Trunfio, Martina Marotta, Emanuela Rossi, Lidia Vitale and Giuseppe Garibaldi. The group is completed by Francesco Guzzo Magliocchi, Manuela Morabito, Sandro Bersani, Giorgio Franzè, Marco Martire, Antonio Di Natale, Vincenzo Tripodi, Paolo Napizia, Giada Ruperti and Silvia Taverna.
A cake, a ring and a wedding by chance
The story picks up two years after the events of the first film. Pietro and Lolli are still in love, while Omero and Andy have broken up due to the distance and Andy’s work commitments abroad. When Lolli receives a one-year job transfer out of town, Pietro finds himself involved in a gift exchange that results in him giving his partner a cake with an engagement ring. Unable to confess the misunderstanding, he ends up organizing a real wedding. His friends try to help him with the preparations, but between lies, unexpected events and a Roma match, the wedding turns into a disastrous road trip.
