On Thursday 9 January at 11am, in the Hall of Flags of the Municipality of Messina, a Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of of the City Plan that the State Property Agency promotes in Italy in collaboration with local authorities and all stakeholders in the area.
Within the City of Messina Plan, which aims at the redevelopment of public real estate assets, the urban regeneration project “Ca-Bis” (Camaro-Bisconte) has also been includedprepared by the Office of the Extraordinary Commissioner for the rehabilitation of the slums of Messina and presented last December in Rome as part of the “Città in Scena” festival organized by Mecenate90 and Ance.
The urban regeneration project was appreciated by the Director General of the State Property Agency, Alessandra Dal Verme, who carried out an inspection in recent days. “I am particularly satisfied and the presence of the President of the Region demonstrates the attention to the needs of the communities and the indispensable regeneration of the cities”, declares the sub-commissioner for redevelopment Marcello Scurria.
