The brothers victims of alleged mistreatment after almost a month leave the hospital in Cosenza. Returning to normal life – if we can call it that – after the trauma will not be easy at all. Today there is a temporary custody in a “protected” structure in another province in which they will be followed by social services. The two children are waiting for further decisions of the Juvenile Court. The hearth for some time, however, will no longer be that of their home. And everything will seem strange and confused in what has ended up becoming an existential and social drama for them.
Yesterday in the early afternoon he resignations from the Annunziata and their contextual temporary assignment to a protected structure. The two three and two -year -old children had entered the hospital respectively on January 25 and January 31st. But even earlier between December and January they had been brought to the nosocomes of Paola, Cetraro and therefore to Cosenza.
The suspicions – on mistreatment – arose to the health workers of the Hub hospital after visiting the largest of the two, who is only three years old. Consequently after the investigative emergencies, even the smallest of two years was conducted in the hospital. Trauma and injuries therefore emerged that at different times would have affected the two children. The smallest was operated on the arm while the largest due to a hematoma to the testicles ended initially in intensive care.
