No indictment for the suspects of the investigation of the Vibo Valentia prosecutor who aimed to shed light on the opaque management of the Vibonese librarian system. The Gup of Vibo Valentia, Roberta Ricotta, has in fact decided for the acquittal of all, disregarding the request for indictment formulated by the investigating office led by Camillo Falvo. Thus they come out of the accusations, after investigations by the judicial police of the Guardia di Finanza of the Vibo prosecutor: Gilberto Floriani77 years old, the children Emilio44 years old, e Joseph48 years old, e Gabriele Floriani36 years old, all from Vibo Valentia; Valentina Amaddeo44 years old, from Vibo. Offended parties in the criminal proceeding were the Municipality of Vibo, the Calabria Region, Marialteresa Marzano And Cristian Montesano.
Initially the Vibo prosecutor had contested the crime of embezzlement, but the review court had redeveloped the accusation in abuse of office, a crime repealed however by the reform wanted by the Minister of Justice Carlo Nordio. In the face of the redevelopment of the crime, the Vibo prosecutor had thus contested a still different crime, namely 314 bis, which punishes “the undue destination of money or movable things”. A choice that must not have convinced the gup of the Vibo court on the configurability of this crime and, therefore, has ordered the non -place to proceed for all suspects.
The Yellow Flames had documented reimbursement of expenses and conferment of assignments deemed illegitimate, as well as “disorder, deficiency of organization and a little clear accounting management” of the largest librarian pole of Calabria.
