Accessible beaches: the Municipality of Crotone has donated two Job chairs

The municipality of Crotone donated this morning Two Job chairsspecifically designed to allow people with motor disabilities to access safe and comfort to the beach and the sea.

The chairs were taken over by Luca Manicapresident of the Sib (Italian Balneari union) of Confcommercio Crotone and will be positioned at the Lido Azzurro where, among other things, the Sabir associations and the others are we are us and at the Lido La Ronde.

The initiative is part of the commitment of the municipal administration for an increasingly inclusive and attentive city to the needs of all citizens; The new chairs will be made available to the equipped access of the beaches thanks also to the collaboration with local bathing operators.

At the donation ceremony, which was held on the city promenade, the commissioner for public works Rossella Parise was present who, on behalf of the mayor and the administration, donated the Job chairs.

Accessibility is not an optional, but a right. This gesture wants to be a further step towards a more welcoming and usable coast of everyone. Job chairs will allow people with reduced mobility to live the sea in a full and dignified way. As a Department of Public Works, we will continue to work to guarantee more inclusive and sustainable infrastructures, so that no one remains behind.
