The meeting scheduled for some time between trade union organizations, the RSU and the municipal administration of Lamezia Terme to deal with the issue of the stabilization of social inclusion trainees (TIS) was held yesterday.

The union acronyms expressed appreciation for the attitude of opening, transparency and seriousness demonstrated by the Administration, highlighting in particular theHonesty of the choice not to proceed with the insertion of a number of tis not consistent with the actual possibilities of the body on the platform.

In this regard, it has been clarified that the lack of registration on the platform does not determine any negative impact on the prospects for stabilizing trainees at the Municipality of Lamezia Terme or at other entities. What will be decisive is the adoption of the necessary resolution by 31 July, on which the Municipality is already working with the utmost attention.

It is also important to underline how the stabilization procedure that can be traveled for TIS (i.e. through employment centers) allows, by provision of the law, the only hiring of workers with operator duties that do not require other requirements beyond compulsory school.

The municipal administration, in the people of the mayor, lawyer Mario Muroneand of the councilor for staff, lawyer Giulia Banohas shown great commitment on the question and gratitude to all trade union organizations and the RSU for the climate of loyal and constructive confrontation.

They have been recognized by all the objective difficulties of the Municipality in proceeding with the stabilizations, taking into account that, based on the current organic plant, the body could proceed with the intake of only two units. However, the meeting ended with a joint commitment: to maximize the stabilization opportunities as far as possible, continuing the study already started by the municipal administration to evaluate any hypothesis useful to increase the number of hires.

The trade union organizations have also reiterated that, thanks to the amendment approved in recent years, it is possible to use these resources also in supernumero: for this reason, the administration is asked to evaluate exclusively the financial limits, without constraints on the organic endowment.

The municipal administration and trade union organizations confirm the desire to continue a path of constant and responsible confrontation, in the interest of trainees and the whole community.
