A German citizen was arrested in Zambrone: he must serve six months for drugs

A German citizen was arrested by Vibo Valentia mobile team in execution of a European arrest warrant issued by the Dutch authorities, following a six -month sentence for possession of drugs. The report arrived on 22 July at the police headquarters: the man was a guest of one accommodation facility in Zambrone Marina. The agents quickly traced him, identified and transferred to the police station. Was then led to the Vibo Valentia district housewaiting for theextradition.

The use of the “web -housing” system was decisive, which allows the managers of the accommodation facilities to promptly transmit guests’ data to the police headquarters, as required by art. 109 of the Consolidated Law of the Public Security Laws (TULPS).

The police headquarters drawn the attention of the owners of accommodation facilities on the registration obligation: failure to comply can involve administrative or criminal penaltiesespecially in the presence of suspicious activities.
