The performance of competitions is expected to replenish the municipal organic plant, currently under 300 units. A basin that has been emptying, over the years, as the retirements have not been followed by the introduction of new staff, due to the instability of the institution.
The process, however, seems to have blossomed, with the administration led by the mayor Franz Caruso, who, through a policy of reabsinging municipal finances, managed to open glimpses towards the recruitment of professional figures to be included in the various sectors, being able to access the insolvency procedure, in fact. There is no shortage of controversy, in the meantime. The council group of Fratelli d’Italia, for example, expresses “strong concern and profound dissent with respect to some recent decisions of the municipal administration, which – beyond every sterile controversy – risks creating further inconvenience to citizens”.
