The inscription, by the Public Prosecutor of the Republic of a crime news against unknown persons for kidnapping or murder: Mario Blaganò, the son of Antonio, the 67 -year -old doctor who passed away on July 25 in Nocera Terinese (Catanzaro) and of which there is no news on 25 July.
A request motivated by the fact of being able to “activate all the technical investigations that cannot be activated if there is no registration of a crime news”. The man refers to tables and telephone cells, to the seizure of cameras and targa gates, the performance of a forensic report on the car of the doctor found in recent days and the extraction of the data on the movement of the vehicle.
«What we fear – says Mario Blaganò – is that they are looking for my father only with the protocols to look for a missing. My father was not doing hiking, the circumstances are everything except clear: personal effects left in the office, he comes out suddenly during working hours (he had not yet finished the turn): did anyone call it? And if so, are the protocols already active to check this information? And they brought him somewhere else? Until my father is found, the job is not over. Let’s not stop for reconstructions and summary hypotheses based on a few cameras. In the meantime, thanks to all the people involved in the research ».
In this regard, meanwhile, the prefect of Catanzaro Castrese De Rosa has held a meeting aimed at taking stock of the research activities that concentrated in the Galasso area, an impervious area between the municipalities of San Mango d’Aquino and Nocera Terinese, where the doctor’s car was found. From the research, from the first moments, the prefecture announces almost fifty among carabinieri, soldiers of the “hunters” squadron of the carabinieri, alpine rescue of the Guardia di Finanza, firefighters and Alpine and speleological rescue of Calabria. In addition, three helicopters and some drones deployed in the fly of the vast area are used. In research, dog units and molecular dogs of the carabinieri and two voluntary associations of the Civil Protection were also employed. Today, also on the basis of the potential slopes drawn by dogs, the rescuers are scandling a slope of about 600 square meters, characterized by the presence of an impervious 50 meters and a very dense vegetation, with the use of SAF units of the firefighters and the speleological group of the Guardia di Finanza. The prefect thanked all the rescuers for “the intense activity put in place that lasts for days, without interruption, representing that the research operations will continue and will be the subject of another possible synthetic point in the next few days”.
