On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the autonomy of the Municipality of Venetic, the Rizzo administration has drawn up an event program for tomorrow. An institutional moment will therefore take place with the participation of the political and civil authorities, in the presence of the Minister of Civil Protection in Musumeci at 6 pm, in the conference room of the Municipal Palace of via Marconi. At 9.30 pm there will be a musical show of the Iris Band, in the municipal villa Papa Giovanni XXIili.
“This year a moment of great historical and institutional value occurs for our community: with the 85th anniversary of the recognition of the autonomy of the Municipality of Venetic – declares the mayor Francesco Rizzo -. Citizenship is invited to participate ». Venetic has a rich and complex history, linked to its strategic position on the Tyrrhenian coast and the historical events that have marked Sicily. In 1929 he was aggregated to the Municipality of Spadafora, but in 1940 he was reconstituted in his old borders.
