Gioia Tauro remains in the running to host the line -selling ship and the DRI pole scheduled for a priority in Taranto in the plan for the decarbonisation of the former Ilva. To leave the door open to the Calabrian alternative is the draft of the program agreement on the Apulian website which, illustrated on Thursday at Mimit and underway of the local institutions, could be signed on August 12.
Basically there is everyone’s commitment – government, local authorities, unions – on the “full decarbonisation”. All other aspects will be deepened in a further meeting.
