Today, at 3 pm, the provincial secretary of the Conf.In of Crotone, Fabio Tomaino, and a delegation of workers met the president of the province, Sergio Ferrari, to have clear answers on the future of the digitization project of healthcare folders in Calabria.

We were reported that President Occhiuto intervened to face the problem of returning the folders to the company. But the truth is that all the open wounds remain which we report from 24 July: the absence of a clear procedure, sudden closures, forced holidays, suspended rounds, uncertainty of contracts, abuse to staff. Evident signals of a management that does not look at innovation, nor the quality, nor the dignity of a stable work.

We asked for a direct meeting with Konecta, but nobody replied. President Ferrari has committed himself to soliciting the comparison, but the problem remains: here are spending about 20 million euros of public resources to offer a poor quality service, not for workers’ responsibility – which every day work only on the basis of verbal indications – but for an absent and inconsistent organization.

The institutions have a duty to supervise, to guarantee transparency and respect in the use of these resources. The workers are no longer willing to bend to non -legitimate and non -formalized practices.

If immediate answers do not arrive, we will turn to the prefecture of Crotone to denounce with even more strength: we do not want this project to turn into yet another Calabrian failure. We want to recover it, make it a model for Italy, an example of stable and dignified work. Time is not tomorrow. Time is now.
