The Carabinieri of Tiriolo, at the end of an investigation, arrested a 43 -year -old from the place in the act of the crime of illegal production of drugs.
In fact, the man was taken up by the military while cultivating an Indian hemp plantation, divided into three pitches that had been hidden in an impervious area covered by the bush. The cultivation, equipped with an autonomous irrigation system, had been identified and monitored by the carabinieri also with the help of phototrappole.
Just last Saturday, after noticing suspicious movements, the military identified the man and proceeded to arrest in the act. 17 marijuana plants were found in the plantation about two meters high, which were promptly seized.
At the outcome of the investigations, the person was arrested in the act of crime for the hypothesis of production, traffic and illegal possession of drugs and, at the disposal of the judicial authority, subjected to the measure of house arrest. During the validation hearing, the judge applied precautionary measure of house arrest.
