After the days of intense heat, a violent storm was demolished on the island of Lipari. The roads turned into real rivers of water, while lightning and thunder have created moments of strong apprehension between residents and tourists. In particular, via Lieutenant Mariano Amendola has been completely invaded by the rain, making complicated to citizens and traders enter or exit their premises.

Similar situations also in via Roma, Calandra and Marina Lungo, where the water flowed as in full. Bad weather has also put the boaters in difficulty: many have been blocked on their boats, both in open sea and moored in the bridges.

In the other islands of the archipelago, the consequences were different: only a light rain was recorded in Stromboli, while in Panarea the telephone connections went on tilt and a spectacular marine trumpet phenomenon was spotted.
