New episode of violence within the Catanzaro penitentiary. A prisoner with serious psychiatric problems, already the protagonist in the past of an attack, has hit and threatened a prison police officer with an iron bar, then managing to lock him up in the entrance of the section.
The complaint comes from Sappe, through the general secretary General Giovanni Battista Durante, who reconstructed what happened. According to reports, the previous evening a call had been made to an emergency number intended for another police force to ask for support within the structure. A similar fact, it is remembered, would have already occurred in the past in another Calabrian institute.
