The Undersecretary of Justice Andrea Delmastro visited, this morning, the imprisonment house in Laureana di Borrello, in the Reggio area. The exponent of the Meloni government first visited the institute in custody attenuated together with the director Caterina Arrotta and the Undersecretary inside Wanda Ferro, immediately afterwards met the union representatives of the Penitentiary Police and the central functions sector.
Delmastro stressed that the Meloni government is trying to resolve the deficiency of organic in prisons: “This institute also has indirectly benefited from the cyclopean hires of the government, in addition to 10,750 hires, financed in just one and a half years”. The undersecretary has reassured that there will be no “nobody empties prison on the horizon, but a prison building plan that makes it more human, through prison places that avoid overcrowding”.
Next week Demastro will be in sight at the penitentiary of Catanzaro and the Undersecretary for Justice underlines the high performances of the Calabrian repentant police. “A very mature body, very serious, very prepared that the rest of Italy can also be an example.
