In recent days, the State Police has executed a precautionary measure, requested by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and issued by the investigating judge at the Palmi Court, for the crime of mistreatment in the family.
In particular, the policemen of the Public Security Commissariat of Gioia Tauro, arrested a forty year old following the ordinance that orders the application of the pre -trial detention in prison.
The provision compends the results of an investigative activity, carried out by the policemen of the Public Security Commissariat of Gioia Tauro and coordinated by the local Public Prosecutor’s Office, which was born from the complaint that prunted in March by a woman, in relation to an escalation of attitudes of physical and verbal violence, carried out for several years, made by the spouse to the detriment of the entire family, such as to make family coexistence incompatible. The subsequent insights and the testimonies collected by the policemen have made it possible to reconstruct a serious circumstantial framework against the suspect, highlighting the repeated conduct that the same would have put in place towards his wife and daughters, forcing them to live in a state of terror and enslavement threatening them even of death on several occasions.
At the end of the investigations, the judicial authority issued the precautionary measure in question that brought the man to prison regarding the crime of mistreatment against aggravated family members.
