The ceremony, full of emotions, began with the deposition of a laurel wreath, offered by the municipal administration of Soverato and Satriano, at the stele overlooking the Carabinieri Command, then continued with the celebration of a Holy Mass in the church of S. Maria Immacolata di Soverato, officiated by the military chaplain of the Carabinieri Carabinieri Command Don Vincenzo Ruggiero, in which they participated, in addition to the Vedova. family members of the appropriate Lio, the provincial commander of the carabinieri of Catanzaro, Colonel Giuseppe Mazzullo, the chief prosecutor of the Republic of Catanzaro, Dr. Salvatore Curcio, the deputy prefect of Catanzaro, Dr. Luigi Guerrieri, representatives of the Police Headquarters, of the Guardia di Finanza, the commander of the Port Authority and representatives of the National Carabinieri Association, together with the mayors of the Municipalities of Satriano. of Soverato. The killer was captured after a massive man hunting. Meanwhile, the two accomplices, two uncensored cousins, were formed to the carabinieri, demonstrating their extraneousness for the murder of the military.
