Today, at the headquarters of the Maritime District Office of Lipari in Porto Pignataro, the rotation in command between the lieutenant of Vascello Fabio Cicero and the lieutenant of Vascello Gianmaria Arangio, in the presence of the head of the Maritime Compartment of Milazzo, captain of frequished Alessandro Sarro, took place.
The military personnel of the office greeted and thanked the Lieutenant of Vascello Cicero for the intense work done over the course of a year and three months of command, during which he demonstrated constant commitment, professionalism and a sense of responsibility. In the period spent in Lipari, Commander Cicero has established relationships of effective collaboration with local institutions, citizens of the Aeolian Islands and the authorities operating in the archipelago, working with a spirit of service and full synergy.
The command now passes to the lieutenant of Vascello Gianmaria Arangio, originally from Marsala and from the Port Authority of Savona. Graduated in Law, the officer has gained significant experiences at the Port Authority of Civitavecchia and that of Savona, holding prominent positions such as head of the state property and litigation section, security officer of the Bavigation and responsible for the prevention and protection service.
The ceremony, held in a simple and sober form at the Porto Pignataro office, was an opportunity to renew thanks to the outgoing commander Cicero for the activity carried out and to wish good wind and good work to the Aragio commander, called to guide the Maritime District Office of Lipari.
