The men of the Port Authority of Milazzo intervened, in the late morning, to save a young swimmers who were stuck among the rocks, at the mercy of the waves, on the coast of Mongiove, a hamlet of the municipality of Patti (me), due to the enlarged, agitated and strong currents sea.
The alarm took place when some present noticed the girl unable to reach the shore. The coordinated intervention of the Coast Guard with two teams of the Fire Brigade of the Messina Command, coming from the detachments of Patti and Milazzo.
The operations took place in difficult weather-marine conditions, but thanks to the promptness and professionalism of the operators involved, the intervention ended with a positive outcome: the batter, visibly proven but conscious, was treated and recovered safely.
