The oratory of the new diocesan pastoral center of Locri does not close, but is transformed into an even richer space of educational and training opportunities aimed at the new generations.
This was confirmed by Don Pietro Romeo, vicar general of the diocese of LocriRace and director of the first grade secondary school “Don Giovanni Bosco”, which will soon be active within the structure owned by the diocese, historically entrusted to the Salesians for over fifty years.
In the last few days, the future of the oratory – and in particular the news of its imminent closure – has aroused a heated debate in the city, fueled by interventions on social media and protests that have also found space on information channels.
