Tropea still “capital” of tourism. Everything more expensive but … sold out

Tropea is preparing for a promising season closure, with signs almost sold out. The official evaluation will only arrive in mid -September (with the definitive data between presences and proceeds from the tourist tax) but the current statistics offer an already very encouraging picture, with exponential growth compared to summer 2024. According to data released by the local police, the proceeds deriving from blue stripes parking spaces have exceeded 1.2 million euros, increasing compared to 1.1 million last year, thus highlighting an increase of 10%. The cost of the stop remained unchanged: in the marine area 3 euros, 2 in the center and in the more peripheral areas 1.50. Behind the positive data, for the restaurant, there is having regulated the road flow, since the central area has been delimited for the loading/unloading of goods, contributing to greater order and safety.
