Meal vouchers and supplementary bargaining: the CISL Public function warn the municipal administration. A question returns to the foreground which, despite repeated references, remains unsolved: the failure to pay the meal vouchers intended for municipal staff. A contractual right that workers have been waiting for for over a year and which, according to CISL, represents not only a serious omission on the administrative level, but also a violation of the contractual rules that regulate employment relationships in the local autonomies sector. Beyond the reassurances that have repeatedly reached the Municipality, the question is intertwined with another no less significant problem: decentralized supplementary bargaining, firm since 2018. A node that the union considers central, because on it the distribution of the fund of decentralized resources and the economic and professional recognition due to staff depend. In this context, the position of the CISL FP Messina is inserted which, with a released press release yesterday, formally “warned the administration to start without further delay the supplementary bargaining relating to the current year”, 2025, but also to remedy the delays accumulated in previous years, from 2018 and until 2022.
