You run fast towards the start of the works for the construction of the new Zafferia shopping center. The procedure underwent an accelerated at the beginning of August with the release, by the Territorial and Urban Planning Services Department of the Building Permit to the CCR shopping centers Retail Srl according to the provisions of the legislation, the company has time until January 15, 2027 for the start of the works but the feeling is, instead, that the times will be much shorter. Another clue, in fact, is what – in the session of yesterday of the second commission, the resolution for the indolence of a portion of land for a total of 600 square meters of the Via Cirino in Zafferia was approved. A road that constitutes the connection between Vico Pennisi and the riverbed of the Zafferia stream. The Municipality, owner of the road route, defined the investigation by making use of the technical support of the Spa patrimony which has competence on the management, enhancement and disposal of the real estate assets of the Municipality. After the checks carried out by the assets, the acquisition of the opinions necessary by the offices of Palazzo Zanca and by the Superintendence for Cultural Heritage, the assets considered the value of 50,400 euros that the company estimated for the area and has started forgetfulness and sale. The definitive green light will have to give it, now, the city council and it is possible that it does so in one of the very first sessions after the suspension of the works for the summer break, so then as to bring the act to the notary for the signature. But there is another important step. The Department of Productive Activities of the Region, in particular the Department of Productive Activities and Service 1S Commerce, has set for a series of institutional subjects to participate for September 2, a series of institutional subjects: the mayor and the general manager of the Municipality, the technical managers of Palazzo Zanca, the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Confcommercio, Confesercenti, Cidec, Faid Federdistribuzione, Federcom, beyond the municipalities of Villafranca.
