If there was a need to move the political climate at Palazzo dei Bruzi, the regional ones thought about shaking it. It would seem an advance of the election campaign for the climb to the Town Hall, when a year and a half there is about the renewal of the city council. Between members of the junta led by the mayor, Franz Caruso, and representatives of the assembly, the aspirants to a bench for the Citadel form a fairly large patrol. Many others, probably, outside the circuit of rumors, would have liked to measure themselves with the ballot boxes the next 5 and 6 October, preferring, however, to remain at the service of the community to carry out the institutional assignment.
As in the case of the Councilor for Public Works, Damiano Covelli, who in a short post on social profiles reiterated this concept, despite the invitation to take the field. «With the mayor and the entire team relating to the majority of the center -left, we put Cosenza on the right track, taking a path that generated concrete and significant changes. For this reason, despite gratitude towards those who thought of me for other roles, I choose to stay in my place, continuing to work for the growth and development of our city ». In any case, Covelli will lead a battle alongside the party to which they belong, in whose lists they should find a prominent exponents of the Democrat Galaxy, such as, for example, the outgoing group leader to the Region, Mimmo Bevacqua, the former parliamentarian, Enza Bruno Bossio, perhaps also Franco Iacucci and the president of the city council at Palazzo dei Bruzi, Giuseppe Mazzuca.
