Moments of violence yesterday afternoon in via Cusmano, where a young man was arrested by the carabinieri of the Radiomobile section of the Reggio Calabria company after an attack on a bellboy and an attempt at robbery.
During a delivery, the boy tried to pay with a 50 euro banknote presumably false. To the refusal of the courier to accept it, he reacted with extreme violence: he hit the victim with punch to the nape of the neck and subtracted two bags containing products intended for distribution from the car passenger compartment.
Not satisfied, he raged against the vehicle with kicks and stones, damaging him visibly, before fleeing the neighboring streets.
The victim immediately alerted the police. The military tracked down the attacker and recovered the stolen goods, returned to the legitimate owner.
The arrested person, completed the formalities of the ritual, was transferred to the prison “G. Panzera” – Argechillà plexus, available to the judicial authority for the validation judgment.
