The Sicilian Autostrade Consortium has made it known that, today, the overtaking lane of the A20 motorway, in the stretch between Messina and Villafranca Tirrena, was temporarily partialized just before the Telegrafo Gallery, towards Messina.
The measure made itself necessary to allow the intervention of the firefighters, called to remove a dangerous tree that loomed on the roadway and that could have constituted a risk for the safety of motorists. The emergency teams of the CAS for traffic management and to ensure maximum safety during operations also intervened on the spot.
The roads are regular, albeit with some slowdown near the mobile construction site. The consortium invites motorists to pay attention to the signs present and moderate the speed.
