Pharmacies, new organic plant: 12 locations confirmed, the only rural pharmacy remains that of the Portosalvo hamlet. The first proposed resolution formulated by the Councilor for Health, Nicola Maria Barbera, intended for the City Council, n. 56 of 8 August 2025, which concerns the proposal for the approval of the revision of the organic plant of pharmacies for the two-year period 2023-2024. The initiative, which falls within the urban planning sector, is part of the national and regional regulatory framework that governs the pharmaceutical service and its distribution in the area, starting from the Royal Decree 1265 of 27 July 1934, up to the laws 221 and 475 of 1968, as well as to the most recent measures such as Law 27 of 2012, which attributed to the Municipalities the competence in the regulation of the organic plant.
