A constant synergistic comparison with the aim of improving the quality of the volleyball offer on the territories. This, in a nutshell, the objective of the Consulta of the Presidents of the Fipav Committees of the Six Regions of Southern Italy which met in the suggestive setting of the Palazzo della Provincia di Cosenza. Campania, Puglia, Sicily, Molise, Basilicata and Calabria together for increasingly important projects that suits the growth of movement.
In the presence of the national president Giuseppe Manfredi (remote connection), here is Antonio Lopardo (Fipav Basilicata), Guido Pasciari (Campania), Paolo Indious (Puglia), Antonio Posse (Sicily), and Carmelo Sestito (Calabria). The president of Molise Gennaro Niro absent. The meeting was also attended by the federal councilors Marco Mari and Vincenzo Santomassimo, the vice -president of the Calabria Regional Committee Calabria Bruno Gurnari, the regional councilors of the Calabria Committee, Romina Pioli, Francesco Aulicino, Vincenzo Carrozza and Claudio Torchia and the presidents of the territorial committees of Calabria Centro (Francesco Strangis together with the councilor Francesco Sarlo) and Reggio Calabria (Domenico Panuccio). Also present was the president of Coni Calabria, Tino Scopelliti and for a final greeting in the afternoon the president of the provincial administration Rosaria Succurro.
A meeting not only institutional, but also operational from a technical point of view because the representatives of the various regional qualification centers coordinated by Coach Pasquale D’Aniello, coach of the Italian national team of sitting volley, participated.
An important moment that now takes place almost monthly to trace the ranks of what will be a particularly intense year, a moment of dialogue and comparison to develop new ideas and synergy in the name of the enhancement of an important sport such as volleyball.
The discussion has surrendered on various important activities of the next few months: starting from the Trophy of the territories, the Troopus of the Three Seas and the Southern Super Cup. A large and participatory discussion with a debate that offered interesting ideas also in the perspective of the growth of that combination of sport and tourism so dear to the Calabrian president Carmelo Sestito, but also to the colleagues of the Consulta of the South.
