He was on vacation in Cirò Marina, a man from Brianza who, after renting a few months ago, a large -displacement car, had made his traces lose. The local police of the Ionian town tracked down the forty -five Brianzolo, following the reporting of the rental company. The GPS device installed on the car indicated, in fact, the presence of the car in the municipal area. The agents were enough to go to the area reported to identify the vehicle. The car was parked near the beach, from where after some waiting time, the man who headed towards the car went back: ready to open the door and slip inside. The local police, at that point, blocked and subjected to investigations.
The checks revealed that the car, despite the reporting of embezzlement and the loss of possession already declared by the company, had traveled several itineraries in Lazio, Puglia and Sicily. In addition, the vehicle circulated without insurance coverage, suspended by the rental company last spring.
The car was seized and made available to the judicial authority. The man was referred to in a state of freedom for the crime of embezzlement.
Obviously, pending the determinations of the judicial authority and in the absence of a definitive assessment of responsibility, the person subject to investigation, who does not appear to have any relationship of kinship in Cirò Marina, is to be considered allegedly guilty.
